It was so nice to escape winter for a couple of days with a trip to California with my family. It had been years since we'd all been together at once. Unfortunately my boyfriend couldn't come so I was a bit of a seventh wheel with both of my brother in laws being there, but even so, it was an enjoyable trip.
After arriving at our rental house we went for a sunset walk on the boardwalk that was located on the beach just steps from our place.
And in true family vacation style, we took our van into San Diego to explore downtown and fit in a little bit of shopping.
I wish he could have come too!
